CCDC― the Century Contemporary Dance Company was founded in the millennium. Led by Miss Yao Shu Fen, the company has gone on to perform and present an innovative modern dance that integrate various fields, including theater, visual art, and textual narrative space. The Company carry out Miss Yao's mission by presenting cross-domain collaboration with top artists in various art, created the performing art with contemporary symbolic meaning. CCDC continue searching for new and bold materials in life, incorporating the humanistic and connotation of Taiwan into the dance works, to transcend the original body language and structural barriers, starting from the creation, and transforming theatricality, lives, humanity, and extremely emphasize the commonality of human’s body, dance and social. Under the artistic direction of Miss Yao, CCDC’s works features the most primitive instinct of the human being with compassion.
