Wei-Ning Chen, who received a MFA in Dance Performance from Taipei National University of the Arts and a BS in Psychology from Kaohsiung Medicine University. 2010, she had received a scholarship from LMF Dance Fund to research Tango in Argentina. In 2009 she had been invited to perform in Seoul Tango Festival and Taipei Tango Festival, and in the same year received a scholarship from National Culture and Arts Foundation and National Theater Concert Hall to join a choreography project: Young Star, New Version. In 2008 she received American Dance Festival Scholarship Program from Chin-Lin Foundation for Culture and Arts and performed Trisha Brown’s Solos. Lately, the performed pieces included Les Noces, The Rite of Spring and I Get a Kick Out of You from Century Contemporary Dance Company; East&West Mix&Match and The Other Side of Darkness from Lin HH Dance Theatre; Jeff Hsieh’s Anarchy and Anarchy1980; and Die Fledermaus from National Symphony Orchestra…etc.
