Playing football is not only in the football field, also in the theater. In order to choreograph the work, “I Get a Kick out of You”, Shu-Fen Yao and the dancers learn from the football coach and observe the life of fans in the pubs. She merges the football action with dance, and the male dancers are kicked by the female dancers like the football. The work also mocks at the unequal gender relations in the football games.

Shu-Fen Yao choreographs the work about the hot football game in Britain. She connects with the football actions and the beautiful dance. The dancers and the audiences are in the bargaining game in the work, just like the commercial football stars.
